Brave New Girl paintings

This series of paintings are inspired by my book of drawings Brave New Girl, to be published world wide by Orion Books in 2016, and by my BNG photo-montage images.

With her daughter about to leave school and head out into the big wide world, Lou wanted to create a series of little drawings and inspirational messages to help her feel fearless. As she drew, Lou created a character who was everything she wanted for herself, for her daughter, and for all those women, young and old who are maybe too afraid to be all that they can be. So, one drawing at a time, Brave New Girl was born.
